I guess this is why most docs don't like faxing patients the results of exams prior to speaking with them!!!!
No meniscal tears, no ligament tears, no joint effusion, no joint space narrowing!
WHOOPEEE!!!!!!
But...why does it hurt like a bitch?????????

could it be your imagination??!! kind of like my re-tear?? we know how that turned out!
Susie, I'm so glad the news was positive! I hear you on the"it stills hurts like a bitch" comment. I just got a follow-up MRI on my ankle and my talus bone is totally healed, no stress fracture line and no bone marrow edema like there was 3 months ago. Also no soft tissue problems. I was SHOCKED because I still have SO MUCH pain in my foot/ankle area. UGH! It's great to have a good diagnosis, but when you still hurt, it almost makes you go crazy wondering WHY!?
I'm thinking clearly you can have soft tissue pain, even if MRI doesn't show it!?!? Perhaps your knee issue is just a body mechanics/compensatory thing? My foot/ankle surgeon thinks my problems are coming from that due to the lingering hip nightmare.
Compensation......it follows us for quite a while doesn't it. I don't know what to think...but am in no rush so I will wait and see!!!
