Wow - found your blog looking for recovery stories and can't believe you've done this five times!! You poor thing!! I sure hope this one takes for you -- it sounds like you're in good hands. It's almost eerie ... I had surgery the exact same day as you, Dec. 1, w/ four anchors and osteoplasty (my first one). I'm still in lots of pain, on crutches for another couple of weeks, and won't speak to my surgeon for another month. I've been so depressed since surgery missing my active life and have been searching for any information that lets me know my recovery is normal or what to expect. I am lucky to get one sentence out of my doctor. All I know is that I'm forbidden to exercise (as if). Thank you for your blog ... it's like a beacon of information and solidarity! It's so true that no one understands ... I have had so many people imply that I "chose" surgery, didn't "try enough" at conservative treatment, or even allowed myself to become injured. I have found the whole process bizarre and deeply frustrating. I sincerely hope your recovery is going better this time!! My absolute best of wishes to you.

Lisa- I'm glad my blog is helpful. Yes, this is really hard, no one can really understand. Hopefully this too shall pass! Lots of luck with your recovery!
