And yes, I am alive! I'm so sorry for being AWOL for months - I've been meaning to e-mail you an update for quite a while now.
In summary: The hips, they suck. Both hips + both knees = very bad pain. I have been denied by new insurance from seeing another OS. I even had an appointment with a new OS that I had to cancel, which was heartbreaking.
In non-hip news, my computer broke a few months ago, and that combined with the new job, and the big news (we bought a house! We close in 8 days!) has left little time for keeping up with the internet. My apologies for being a jerk!
Rachel- welcome back! Exciting news about the house! Our first mortgage nearly gave me a heart attack, but we survived! I'm sorry the ppl at your insurance are being such assholes, what do they expect you do about it? Keep us posted!
